Dr. Katie Vo graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Thereafter, she completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia. Through this residency, Dr. Vo gained experience treating a wide spectrum of cases, including medically compromised and special needs patients. She also served as chief resident and spent time volunteering at the Charlottesville Free Clinic. Shortly after finishing her residency, she accepted a position as a part-time faculty at UVA health. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the local dental society.
Having grown up in Northern Virginia, she never thought she could call anywhere else home, but she was mistaken. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with Charlottesville and its surroundings. She decided to officially call Charlottesville home after residency and joined our office. She enjoys an active lifestyle and likes to spend as much time outdoors as she can, especially with her rescue dog Riley. When possible, she heads up north to spend time with her family and friends.
